Danger dressed in black lace
Billowing above the limbs
That will soon become rockets
Landing where they may
Beauty trumps fear
and offers the promise of raindrops
For the crackling landscape
Begging to be slaked
Subtle vertigo-inducing Motion
agitates the lace from black to grey
and back again
Assembling for the assault
Thunder portends the curtain's rise
the clouds release the strobes
in jagged streaks that hide and seek
releasing Nature's angst.
